Each member of our board is a born-again Christian, active in their church, and a financial contributor to Daisye’s Place. 
  
None of our board members receive any benefit by serving, other than knowing that their work pleases our Heavenly Father.
  
Our board members have diverse talents:  educator, publisher, auctioneer, small business owner, secretary, real estate developer, travel agent, Sunday School teacher, band director, and short term mission volunteer.
  
They worship and serve at Hunter Street Baptist Church, Baptist Church at McAdory, Pleasant Grove Assembly of God, and Metro Church of God. 
  
They serve or have served as volunteers or board members at the Crisis Center, Alabama Teen Challenge, Mental Health Association of Central Alabama, Alabama Youth Home, Lawson State College, and the Foundry.  They have also participated in short term mission trips.
